Exploring family connections: a process developed in collaboration with Vanesa Ayala, my sister. Both our professional backgrounds and personal history interact in this research, where a biologist tries to explain an artist about family relations in her very own point of view. This revision into ourselves, as part of a family, of a social context, a moral set of values, and as sisters and best friends, was emotionally powerful and deeply full of discoveries. It is also the beginning of a larger project, partly artistic research, where family relations and moral become political.
